Welcome to Riikka Kovasin

I am Riikka Kovasin from Helsinki, Finland. I am married and have two daughters who are a constant source of inspiration to me. They also are the reason why I started scrapbooking in 2009. 

My style is colorful and rich in detail. Nothing makes me happier than when I can combine my love for the beautiful products with the possibility to get messy with different paint media. I am a mixed media and scrapbooking artist who loves to combine different products and techniques to express my feelings and to preserve the everyday life for myself and my family. Besides giving in-person workshops, I started taping my own videos to let people participate in my creative process.

Riikka features in many issues of Scrap365 Magazine because she is so inventive with her ideas and creatively diverse. In her article in the November issue, Riikka visited a hardware shop and found all sorts of interesting items to use on her pages.
